Long Beach, CA
An 18-year-old man is in critical condition after a car accident Sunday night. Seems he had just perpetrated a hit-and-run, and while he got the "hit" portion right, he seemed a little unclear on the whole "run" aspect of things.
Escaping from the first scene, he ran into another car, a Long Beach Fire Department battalion chief's SUV, in fact.
Which promptly burst into flames.
Once he wakes up, he's facing some unpleasant charges.
