So somebody shot her and then torched the body, or somebody shot her and left her there, then someone else came along and set her on fire. Either way...Jesus Christ, man.

Last year in Maine, the body of a homeless man was found burning under the bridge where he'd been camping. It turned out he was already dead when someone happened by and set fire to him.

Ugh, geez, she was just a kid. It takes a gruesome kind of sicko to set fire to a human being.

This is very strange case indeed. I happen to live about 1/2 mile away from where her body was found. Playa del Rey is a sleepy little community that maybe gets 1 homicide every 5 years or so. It makes no sense to dump a body right in the middle of a residential neighborhood in broad daylight. I could guess that it might have been a crime of passion where she got into a fight with someone she knows and it ended in her death. Then the perp panicked and wanted to get rid of the body fast. Perhaps more will be made known in the days to come.

Folks, this was purely one of the most senseless acts of inhumanity I have even seen. This beautiful young lady was obviously a special gift for all those she encountered. Her work with youth and faith and so many good things in her short life will not go unrewarded. She was special in the hearts of those who knew her and now in the hearts of those who have only learned of her existence following this gruesome act. I wish the family knew how much people across the country sympathize and grieve their devastating loss.

there is another NicoleHarvey.com this is confusing the issue for internet search. Anyhow I think that if someone burned her body they were just trying to get rid of it quick. Possibly not to be gruesome but to get rid of the evidence. WHERE IS THE REST OF THE KNOWN INFORMATION ON THIS ISSUE? Just somebody hoping to cover their tracks is all I can guess. It's kinda odd to pick up a news article offering $50,000 dollar reward. I don't blame whoever put up the money cause the murderer/s are still out there but I think there's a need for a TON of satellite surveillance cameras, and use the senior citizens and disabled persons to watch them all day. I want to know if she had a cell phone and was trying to call anyone cause she saw a problem in the neighborhood. Recently I've seen someone I almost tripped over who just got stabbed up in the kidneys, I also saw a creepy young black man about 20-30+yrs who was waving a large silver blade all over at people, and seriously threatening to hack them up around the post office at Windward Circle. All in the past month...ouivalerie@yahoo.com
