All This And They Still Don't Know

Alhambra, CA

So, Isaac Campbell, chief suspect in the murder of Liya Lu, whose body was found stuffed in a trash can in September had his arraignment yesterday.

April fool!

Yeah, not so much. Turns out it's been delayed to May 6th. Seems the L.A. County Coroner's having some, you know, trouble with that whole "cause of death" thing they keep going on about. Like it's important or something.

Come on, people. You've had the body since September. Look, I'm not trying to tell you how to do your job... Okay, yeah, actually maybe I am. But it's been more than 6 months for chrissakes.

Jeez. Coroners. You'd think they were busy or something.

OK, maybe it's because I haven't had my coffee yet, or maybe I'm just stupid. Could someone explain "mortuary death"? Does that mean that they got to the mortuary BEFORE they died, or is the coroner also in the embalming business? Seems you guys may have a bit of a problem if it's the former....

I'm pretty sure those are the ones who are sent to the mortuary before the coroner gets a chance to look at them.

Which begs the question of why they were sent to the mortuary before the coroner had a chance to look at them.
