Panic and stupidity make you do funny things. Scream, run in circles, stab your cab driver and die in the resulting car crash.
Two women were killed in a crash at Medford and Fishburn in East Los Angeles after allegedly stabbing their cab driver, who survived. Seems he was dropping them off at the Ramona Gardens housing project when a man threatened him with a gun. Not waiting to find out whether it was actually loaded, he took off with the women still in the back.
That's when they stabbed him.
Stab the driver of a speeding vehicle? That's crazy talk! Why would someone do something so incredibly stupid? You'd think they were setting him up to get robbed or something. I mean, it's not like he had a lot of cash on him or...
Oh.
Anyway, he's in the hospital in stable condition. Relative to the state of "dead" that puts him ahead of the game.
